# Sharing Credentials

Verified credentials belong to you.

Once your credentials have been verified and issued, you control who can access them and when they can be shared.

iParley never shares your credentials automatically without your permission.

### How Credential Sharing Works

After verification is completed, your credentials become available within your iParley profile and Credential Vault.

Depending on the opportunity, employers or agencies may request access to specific credentials such as:

* Identity verification
* Work authorization verification
* Education credentials (when available)
* Experience credentials (when available)

You decide whether those credentials can be shared.

### Sharing Credentials During a Job Application

When applying for a job through iParley, you may be asked to share verified credentials with the employer.

Examples include:

* Identity verification
* Work authorization verification
* Education verification
* Experience verification

If credential sharing is requested:

1. Review the request
2. Confirm your consent
3. Submit the application

Only the credentials required for that opportunity will be shared.

### Sharing Credentials After an Employer Request

Some employers prefer to review applications first and request credentials later.

In this case:

1. Employer reviews your application
2. Employer requests credential access
3. You receive an email notification
4. You receive an in-platform notification
5. You review the request
6. You approve or decline access

Once approved, the employer can view the requested verified credentials.

### Receiving Credential Requests

Credential requests may come from:

* Employers
* Hiring organizations
* Staffing agencies
* Approved implementation partners

Requests typically occur:

* During candidate review
* After shortlisting
* Before interviews
* Before final hiring decisions

Each request clearly identifies:

* Who is requesting access
* What credentials are being requested
* Why access is being requested

***

### Viewing Who Has Access

You can review sharing activity directly within your account.

The sharing history shows:

* Organization name
* Shared credentials
* Date shared
* Current access status

This provides transparency and control over your verified information.

### Sharing Credentials Outside iParley

In some cases, you may wish to share verified credentials with organizations that are not currently using iParley.

Depending on available platform features, verified credentials may be shared through:

* Secure credential links
* Downloadable credential reports
* Credential QR codes
* Wallet-based credential sharing

Shared credentials remain linked to their verification status, helping third parties validate authenticity.
